Right in time to provide a soundtrack to the end of summer and embrace the darker seasons, German duo Strg X brings a powerful new duo: ‘Fireflies’ and ‘We Are The Future’. Once again, the musical union of Samir Rothmeier and Johannes Schubert leads to a balancing act of techno, prog and oldskool minimal – one that’s highly danceable.

Following their previous EP’s, including Top 100 duo ‘Aquene’ & ‘Starchild’, as well as ‘Monster’ & ‘Commodore’, Strg X hits in deep, dark and full of extraordinary fusions. While ‘Fireflies’ has a slight feel of the 90’s, it’s the techno sound of today that sets things in motion. A musical imprint of the early days of raving, this track one-up’s the classics of the past and brings it right back to today. ‘We Are The Future’ leans towards the progressive side, sweeping us right off our feet with a melodic approach, an aural hug that sticks with you, long after the last beat has been silenced.
